Meet Mikaila
Hi, I'm Mikaila Murray, a Licensed Counselling Therapist and Registered Nurse.
I've worked in mental health since 2017, with experience in both community mental health and emergency care. Those roles have given me the opportunity to support people during some of the most challenging moments of their lives and have shaped the way I approach counselling today. I understand that life doesn't always go as planned, and that asking for help isn't always easy.
My approach is straightforward, collaborative, and tailored to you. I believe counselling should feel like a genuine conversation, one where you feel heard, respected, and challenged when it's helpful. Together, we'll work to better understand what's keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and find practical ways to move forward.
I have a particular interest in working with men, individuals recovering from trauma, and first responders. These are people who often spend their lives showing up for others while carrying more than anyone realizes. My goal is to provide a space where you don't have to have it all figured out, and where you can speak openly without fear of judgment.
Whether you're dealing with trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, work-related stress, or simply feeling like something isn't working anymore, I'd be honoured to support you as you move toward a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and manageable.
